WHEN DID YOU SHOOT YOUR FIRST WEDDING HERE?
2nd March 2019 – I’ll never forget the date, because it was my son’s 1st birthday! Fortunately my wife loved the wedding photos so much that she forgave me for missing it!

As I said at the top, Dodford Manor is truly the photographer’s dream! The set-up is so slick and well organised that everything runs like clockwork – which really helps to keep everyone calm and relaxed on your big day. The location is STUNNING! The perfect mix of rustic, country charm combined with true elegance and class. There are countless opportunities to get the perfect photo here, both inside and out, and as a photographer it’s always a relief to know that there are great back-up options indoors too if the heavens do decide to open!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE AREA FOR COUPLES’ PORTRAITS AT DODFORD MANOR?
For me, it’s got to involve the beautiful rolling fields. They are just the perfect backdrop for any couple’s shoot – there’s a long, sweeping driveway to walk down, some rustic fences for you to lean on, and sometimes even some little lambs in the background! You can’t beat the peace and seclusion of that spot and it’s the perfect area to get some romantic shots of just the two of you.
ANY TOP TIPS FOR GETTING THE MOST OUT OF OUR WEDDING PHOTOS AT DODFORD MANOR?
If you’re hiring a special car for the day, make sure to ask the driver to stay for some photos once you arrive – the driveway in front of the barn is stunning and is the perfect place for you to get some elegant shots with your vintage vehicle!
