Set within 38 acres of picturesque countryside, Horwood House provides a variety of enchanting backdrops, from romantic gardens to the timeless Manor House. Whether you choose to exchange vows on the inside the Manor House, beneath an ancient oak tree, or in the grand Drawing Room, each corner of the venue is a canvas for beautiful photos.
As a photographer specialising in relaxed, and natural documentary photography, I find that Horwood House is a perfect match for my style. The great variety of open, private, and picturesque spaces allow me to capture genuine moments and spontaneous emotions. My personal favourite locations to help ensure perfect Wedding photos at Horwood House
Horwood House is a stunning location for a wedding all year round, with the beautiful Manor House and picturesque gardens providing the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos. To ensure that your wedding album is packed full with stunning images, there are a few key locations that you should consider. There really are so many to choose from, but here are my expert recommendations. Firstly the stunning pond area to the left of the Manor House is such a private and special space. The long, beautiful tree-lined driveway with the Manor House as the perfect backdrop is another favourite of mine. The glorious bricked steps at the back of the Manor House again provide you with some ideal photo opportunities, and the elegant sweeping staircase with the iconic chandeliers is the perfect spot for a more arty or dramatic photo, particularly if your wedding dress has a gorgeous train that you want to showcase to its full potential.

It was evident from our first communication with him that he was both incredibly friendly and professional, making us feel immediately at ease. From the outset, Brad was always on hand to answer our questions and the catch-up video call a few weeks prior to our big day enabled us to run through the plan with him. When he arrived at the bridal suite on our wedding day, he was so calm and positive, which was exactly what any bride needs whilst they’re getting ready. He was happy to chat with us all and get to know us, so that he could capture the natural moments. One thing we loved about Brad was his ability to effortlessly blend in with our guests, so he could achieve candid photos easily; everyone absolutely loved him and were still raving about him the next day. The group photos were a breeze with Brad behind the lens. During our couples’ shoot, as well as throughout the day/evening, Brad was full of creative ideas and poses which helped both of us relax and have a laugh with him – it really felt as though Brad had got to know us during the whole process and knew how to reflect our personalities. Not only this, but he quickly sent through a sneak preview of some of his photos, which were so lovely to receive the day after our wedding. The photos are stunning and we cannot wait to see the rest of them in a few weeks. We would 100% recommend Brad to anyone who would like a friendly, down to earth and highly professional photographer.

Brad was absolutely fantastic before, during and after our wedding! He made us feel comfortable throughout the day and our guests all thought Brad was lovely! He captured all the highlights of our day with a mixture of posed and candid photos and was so subtle we hardly new he was there!
We would thoroughly recommend an engagement shoot as this made us more used to posing for photos, therefore we were more relaxed on the day!
