My photography style is super relaxed and documentary-led which means less posing and more focus on fun and personality.

I’m a wedding/portrait photographer based in Leighton Buzzard on the Bedfordshire/Buckinghamshire border and I primarily cover weddings throughout the home counties as well but am also available to travel both in the UK and abroad by arrangement.
I have always been passionate about photography and love shooting portraits in particular. Whether it’s photographing a beautiful bride walking down the aisle, capturing a tender moment between a new mother and a baby, or simply taking gorgeous pictures of family groups enjoying a day out in the countryside. I love to take natural shots of real-time interactions – capturing a smile or a hug, a small but treasured moment which will never be forgotten when brought to life through my photos.

I like to remain as much in the background as possible to allow you to get on with enjoying your special day however I am happy to give you as much guidance as you need to explore different ideas and styles according to your preferences when it comes to your photos, so if you have a particular vision or specific idea for the style you’d like me to achieve then please do let me know and I’ll always be really happy to take these shots for you. Equally I’m very creative and confident in finding interesting angles and locations for all of my photo shoots, so if you are feeling lost and don’t quite know where to start then I’m also happy to take more of a lead – I’m very flexible and can give you as much or as little guidance as you’d like to make you feel comfortable during your wedding. I love telling people’s unique story through my photos.

I got married in York back in 2015 to my wonderful wife Julia and we now have two incredible young boys, Joshua and George, so family life has always been a big part of me and helped to drive me to become a better version of myself for them.

My personality is fun, warm, and friendly. I believe one of my super-powers is that I’m able to adapt and fit in with a wide variety of different types of people and families on their wedding days. My couples often say in their reviews and feedback that it felt like I was a member of their family who had brought a camera along with me.

I’ve always been very sporty and played almost every sport going and I’ve even run a few marathons along the way – London 2012 and Amsterdam 2016. I think my physical flexibility also helps me to get the best shots!
My childhood and upbringing was a little unconventional, I was home schooled until the age of 13 when I decided I wanted to try secondary school and from there I followed a more conventional route, through GCSE’s, sixth form and university where I studied a Sports Studies and Business (BA Hons) degree. I am dyslexic which has been challenging in some areas but also means that my brain is ultra focused on the creative and visual side of things which is perhaps a reason for my love and passion for photography – it is interesting how many creative entrepreneurs are dyslexic. Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson, Jamie Oliver, Jo Wicks, Holly Willoughby to name just a few.
